Liv needs to keep up. Playing in the rain, being cold, none of it has anything to do with getting sick. If he’s having fun, let him play and have a towel ready for him when he’s done.
I was told that one cannot remain outside in the rain (other than a quick run from/to car, house, etc if already out) as the lightning will be attacked to one as one is taller than than ground and will strike. I was told this starting when I was young and it would start to rain while we were at the beach in bathing suits and would have to leave the beach.

Obviously you need a cooldown.

Yep. Men are the disposable critical resource. You figure it out, I never could.

If it’s a warm summer rain there’s nothing wrong with playing in it

Ben has lived a long and happy life. Suck it up, she worries more about the grandchildren than you.

You don’t count, Grandpa, obviously.

You don’t get sick from getting your clothes wet. If that were the case, every beach would be quarantined.
