seems like a very sound idea NOT to promote from within, judging from the guy who obviously believed he was in line for a promotion. The new head should promote Betty, with all the common sense she has; – but I don’t think she’d accept.
with over 12 Million Americans out of work, Betty is going to need all the luck she can get in finding a new job. I wish her and anyone out there looking, lots of employment finding luck.
