    I think, if she likes the kid, there is no harm in introducing him to a proper diet. If he resents the intrusion, she can always just back away, since this isn’t her son. If he can accomplish so much on pizza and energy drinks, imagine what he could do with nutrition!

    It’s hard to have much sympathy for those who won’t help themselves. Betty needs to move on and save her battles for those who want it.

    He’s not a kid, he’s a self-supporting adult. Betty needs to butt out. Instead maybe she could learn something from him.

    Proper social behaviour towards a co-worker that you actually interact with on a daily basis-is not to ignore that person. Has no one ever heard of Teamwork & Cooperation? . A polite small offer is made. If accepted, another larger offer may be poffered. Betty already has made the small offer (fresh fruit). It has already been accepted. The give & take will continue until one or the other decides when it has reached a comfort level suitable to both. .
