At least she knows she was being snotty. I hate paying with the chip, probably because I’m just not used to it and not everywhere does it. I hate having the machine beep at me and order me to use it.

Funny, everywhere I go is set up to take paper and coins — maybe it’s the wave of the future…

Just about everything out in my neck of the woods is set up for chips. More secure, easier to use… but markedly slower than the old swipe used to be. Having to remove the card at just the right time is also a pain, since the order of operations can be slightly different for different readers and pulling at the wrong time can void the whole transaction.

I ran into a terminal that insisted I insert my card, then couldn’t read the chip. I ended up switching to my credit card that doesn’t have a chip yet.

He wasn’t being snotty – they can’t do the technology yet. Betty has been copping an attitude lately that she would ground Junior for.

Apple isn’t the only one w/ pay-via-phone. Quit being snotty and look around once in a while. (Sorry, that was snotty.)
