She could’ve used this as a way to introduce chores for money or helping an elderly neighbor with light house work for a small amount of money the saving it to begin buying his collection! She would buy the shelves if he agrees to buy the thing that go on the shelves. Of course, Betty never thinks like that so can’t expect much from her.
