Time for a new mattress. I always say it’s very important that you have a comfortable mattress. We spend approximately 1/3 of our lives in bed, we should have a comfortable night’s sleep. It makes a lot of difference.
I can’t speak for Italy but in a couple of months I’m taking a trip to Paris for the first time. I’ll be staying at my in laws apartment there but I’m told the beds are about the size of a single. Needless to say I’ll be sleeping on a fold out sofa

I decided to try a mattress topper to see if it would help me sleep. Nope, but my wife loves it.

I don’t think anything beats an air bed. I’ve been going with cheap ones, but they don’t hold up. I wish the sleep number wasn’t so expensive.
