Looks like Bub will miss giving Betty the water on her run. This will not sit well with her. Unless Junior wakes him up.

Uh oh….I hope there are water stations along the way. It will be hard to run that far without hydration.

Why anyone would use anything quieter than an early warning siren (natural disaster/nuclear attack) for an alarm clock is beyond me.

That would work on me when my bladder’s full.

Old-school men who work can get up.

Bud sure is in trouble now! Unless, of course, he wakes up in time. 19 miles (is it 19 mles?) gives Bud a long time to wake up.

It’s a terrible feeling when you wake up far later than you were supposed to. I’m kind of fortunate in that if I have to be up at a certain time I almost always wake up about 10 minutes before the alarm is set to go off.

I guess I don’t understand why he didn’t get up with her. He just set himself up for failure.

He’ll be there! In pajamas and beard stubble, but he’ll make it. (Just hope he remembers the water…)
