When I served about a submarine and we had one of those very rare home port visits, the captain allowed families onboard. I was repairing the clothes drier when the COB (Chief of the Boat) brought his family down. I put my tools down and sat back to wait for them to leave. I couldn’t do that kind of frustrating work without resorting to the vocabulary referenced in today’s strip.
