Before the Internet, if you applied for a catalog you would be put on a mailing list. Consequently, you got mail from other companies. If you registered at some websites today, you would get spam emails from other websites.

Just look at the incoming e-mail list, read the ones you want, and then Press CTRL+A+DELETE to get rid of the rest.
