School dreams are the worst, especially if you weren’t a great student. I have a recurring dream where I skipped geography and history so much, I didn’t remember if I actually took the class, or when it occurred on the schedule. BTW, I never skipped class in reality, but I hated those two subjects.
After reading “The Teaching of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Kownledge” by Carlos Castaneda I did get to the point of controlling my dreams i.e. stopping a dream and bringing up the back of my hand. I didn’t become a ‘warrior’ but I sure have enjoyed my lucid dreaming over the years.
I’ve had (more than once) a dream within a dream. I.e. I’d wake up from a dream but that waking up was actually just a dream and then I’d wake up for real. Oooorrrrr did I? Hmmmmm….
The most boring dream I ever had was a few months ago. I was sitting on a couch watching a documentary about churches with my dad. It was so odd! I actually remember them showing the inside of the church and talking about the pews and the architecture. I was bored out my mind then at some point my dream jumped into more interesting things.

And you had to ask if it was a dream?
