Those painted rocks have been around here for at least a couple years. People find them then take them and put them somewhere else. Sometimes there’s even an email address on the back so you can let someone know where there rock was found. They’ve been known to travel across the country.
I have some nieces and nephews who love to find them when they’re walking through parks around town, They’ll take them and put them in another park. It’s harmless, amusing, and a way for people to share their craft with others who they’ll never meet,

Betty, Betty. You know SOMEONE is going to start this for-real! Stores will wonder WHY there’s a run on craft paint!

Any one else live where there are sometimes installations around town of painted cows? Or decorated pianos? Those are fun!
