I see EVERYONE wearing The fit watch. Even the 600 pound people show they were wearing them. What the hell for? Consumers are nuts. I mean the couple in this strip~
Don’t buy single-purpose gadgets. They waste money and clutter up your kitchen. And really don’t buy gadgets designed to cook something you can make on the stove with a single pan.
Just a suggestion: stick a note on every kitchen gadget you have with today’s date written on it. Remove the note the next time you use the device. A year from today, dump all the ones that still have a note stuck on them.
I have a Ninja Foodi that does ALL of those things. It’s an air-fryer, slow cooker, dehydrator, sautées/sear, steams, pressure cooks, bakes/roasts, etc. It cost around $180 but I got it fully reimbursed through a program at my job that will pay up to $600 per year for certain “healthy” things such as sporting equipment, gym memberships, small kitchen appliances (such as that Foodi), exercise clothing (I got a pair of walking sneakers “free” from this program), camping equipment, even tickets to national parks!
Anyways, that Ninja Foodi is definitely worth it! I hear even Instant pot has one too if you’d prefer that brand instead.
Here’s a thought: Try it the old fashioned way. For every measure of rice, boil twice as much water (1 cup of rice to two cups of water), add the rice, turn the heat down to low and cook for 20 minutes. That’s what I did before I got a rice cooker.
