I really don’t like the balloon decorations, except for snowmen, where they make sense. And all day there are those ugly puddles of plastic in the front yards. And if there’s unexpected wind like yesterday, well….But if the kidlets like them, sigh, then it really doesn’t matter what Ithink.

What’s sad is the sight of the deflated ‘decorations’ all over the neighborhood in daylight. Lifeless. Bereft of spirit.

Someone up the street has Santa in an airplane. The prop is a separate piece, also inflated, and it turns slowly in the wind.
