Your local library might have a used book sale section, they would love to have them. If not, get one started. It generates money for projects the library has ( some libraries don’t make you pay fines because that money goes into the city coffers instead of the library fund or so I’m told).
What do you mean you don’t need to re-read good books? That’s what they are for! Bad books you get rid off, good ones you read till they fall apart and then you buy it new again
I built a little free library. Stocked it with a load of books. I don’t look in it often. No real reason to. But when I do, I now rarely see anything I’d be interested in looking at.
I agree with Betty. So many books that I have loved, but it is not necessary to re-read them. I’d rather donate them to the local recycle store (run by the Animal Shelter) andknow someone else will also enjoy them.
I haven’t read a book in a few years, not because of lack of content. Since I moved, I’ve started reading some every night. Across the street is a LFL. As I finish each, I’ll put it there.

I had to do that with my Wife’s Harlequins. Filled two large garbage bags.

Why is she sighing? I think it may just be possible that she wanted to get rid of the entire Library, hmm? ☺

Don’t put anything in there that the book banners would burn.

just buy a faux book they look nice, and you can hide things behind them.

keeping books is often the same as displaying trophies.
