My mother’s toy poodle Sugar did the same thing. We had to dig a path for her in the snow. Then we used the blow dryer to melt the ice in her fur. I had to do the same thing for my too dogs.
Odinsdottir, our Skogskatt, did that last year and did not want to come back in. I swear she’s part Husky.
