It’d give me a headache, too!

That’s actually pretty good. It’s a play-on-words because they are all in the school together, and the school is a community effort, so the point is they’re all meant to work together for the school.

Ironic that Nate, the master of nicknames on multiple levels, can’t appreciate that, but not quite given that he can’t appreciate anything school-related.

the next level of play has to do with the fact that they are all, in fact, literally in it together. The teachers and students all HAVE to be there so they are all stuck there together “in it” judging by the way that several teachers feel about thier jobs.

No one caught the “High school musical” thing? And I don’t even watch that…

P.S. 38, the same number as a Gun, bullet, Airplane and Can opener. Now that’s a motto.

I understood the references to the .38 caliber bullet (and the pistol named after it) and the P-38 Lightning fighter plane from World War 2, but had to look up the can opener, also a P-38 military issue that’s been around since 1942. Wow. someone better at obscure trivia than me. I’m truly impressed. Still, as a motto, that’s a terrible motivator. However, anything from High School Musical (for boys, anyway) would be even worse. Ugh.

nate is probably getting a headache because he has repeated sixth grade almost 21 years.

At least the Jets nailed the jerseys, but yes, their logo is horrible.

Ha. That was my old school’s motto too.

Nate’s motto for the school is “taedium” which is latin for boredom

At first, I read it as “We’re all in this together” and I got very confusing HSM vibes

translation: we’re all suffering together

tomorrow moment (its the last day of summer as of me posting this)

That reminds me of the NC school district’s “All In”. Our principal was a High School Musical fan, so…
