A pop quiz! What a dirty trick that was! I am not understand why is it called a pop quiz. Because they pop it on you, Artur! Pop means the element of surprise! It's like: Here's a quiz! POP! One time I got a dill pickle stuck up my nose, and when my gram pulled it out, it made a really loud pop! Now I am not understand why Chad put a dill pickle inside his nose. I was experimenting!

Confusing, yes, it is, Artur.

At the end of last school year, Nate needed a B in History and studied his buns off – unbelievably he aced the final. He asked Mrs Godfrey for a B in the course and she replied – “why would I do that?” We never found out what grad she gave him. Very disappointing sequence Mr. Pierce. I thought you were going to follow up with him getting what he really deserved – his “A”.

I would imagine a dill pickle up your nose would really clear up your sinuses—once your pulled it out, that is.

That’s the same excuse I used when I got a pea stuck up my nose! I WAS three years old, though.

One final test does not make the final grade. It is the mark on the test plus the sum of that term’s work. A really poor showing on a test or really good, can move the grade a little bit.
And I loved Mrs. Godfrey’s reason for not giving him 100%. However, I’m wondering how she knew it was his test. Two possibilities: he was the only one who didn’t put his name on his paper; she recognised his handwriting.

Regarding the last panel: That’s probably a good thing, Artur.
However, reading that last panel by itself, out of context, makes for a funny, if confusing, set of statements!
