I have to say, I’m really impressed with how mature Nate’s been through this plotline.

It’s a universal concept. For every new endeavor in your life, you will always be either a freshman or a rookie.

Trudy knows and likes them, due to them being her equal – also she doesn´t see Nate the same way they do, which makes a huge difference. Will be interesting to see how long it will take before she actually realises how most of them actually are (to others than those near, or “above” themself).Or if it might need Nate to nearly break up with her, as the first time they talked about this issue, to make a choice – or realise how bad it is.

Hopefully Nate has learned to make up an excuse for not going to the next party.

It is odd though why she doesn´t see her class mates behaviour, since she apparently loves Nate, but there have been plenty examples by now of them doing so. Not going to leave out something fishy, but for now I´m still trusting her, but with all the different cases seen so far (first them saying she could get better for a bf, their behaviour at lunch talking down to sixth graders, can´t recall more before the party), plus her odd expression each time you would think she could add things together – or she could be ignoring it to try and fit in as the new student. But Nate will have to speak up to get through to her at some point.

Or Pierce is going with the thematic of “getting to know people” :D. Trudy mentioning her crushes after she get to know about Jenny (at least by name), she wants to know more about Nate, she thinks that her classmates just needs to get to know him more before accepting him – which is technically true, if they let him in (which his munching could have, if they saw it as a feat instead of annoyance). And obviously … Trudy getting to know her classmates better, and how they actually see the younger students and lifts themself above them just for being an older class.

No he didn´t, he was invited to this one first. So it was the polite thing to turn the other one down, especially considering it was his gf who asked if he could come too.@TheSeanska … and you still get flagged for it. Also can only agree with GILReadsBigNate. What basis do you have for calling the character that? And going down the dramatic route just makes it seem like you are writing it to write that word – not as an oppinion on Trudy.

All I can say is that Nate handled this situation rather maturely. Yeah, he’s nursing some hurt feelings…
…but hey, Nate, at least you’re still walking Trudy home.
Godly_Peeta almost 9 years ago
Wooooooooowwwwwwww does Trudy actually expect 7 grders to get used to him?

She’s minimizing your feelings, Nate. Dump her. You’ll be happier in the long run.

I can’t believe the seventh graders didn’t already know who Nate was just on his reputation alone!
