Nate is extremely self-centered, which is one of the reasons I dislike him. But the rest of his personality- humor, creativity, kindness, et cetera.- win out over the negative sides.

Most comics are irony comics because Nate talks about how other people bother him or talk to him forever and then a comic strip in the future or the next panel is how concieted he is and/or he’s talking about himself

I sorta understand where Nate is going with this… I hate when people forget something cool I did…

I hope this week ends with Gina asking Mrs Godfrey to tell everyone how un-self-centered Gina is is; she just enjoys “socializing” by talking about her good grades. LOL

In this case he could’ve waited for them to go more in depth with Teddy’s topic first, but in general I don’t really see their problem with Nate talking about himself. If someone talks about something and you can’t continue the conversation by relating it to your own experiences with what they’re talking about, then it will be a boring conversation. You can have a back and forth by both people talking about their experiences with the subject, that’s how conversations work. It’s not self-centered.
