I don’t think it was very mean of Mrs. Godfrey. She locked the door right when the bell rang. It was Nate’s fault for not coming in early.

I once had a boss that did that . Set up staff meetings at 8 am sharp and locked the door at 8 sharp. Ended up getting bought out. Hope he got a boss just like him.

My distance learning teacher does the same thing. At exactly 9:00 am, my teacher clicks on the Admit All button in zoom. If you come after that, you’re stuck in the waiting room.

That is absolutely, undeniably, incredibly cruel. She totally did it on purpose. Why did she do it, just to send Nate to detention?

So let me get this straight… Nate was about to arrive to class on time, but right before he walked into the room, Mrs. Godfrey closed the door and locked it so he would be late and get in trouble?! That’s so mean!
