Let’s all admit right now, not every school have the greatest meals.

Time for the first of MASTERKOHGA’s weekly reviews. I will try to do the best I can at reviewing.

So compared to last week, this week was amazing. Despite being reruns, Each one of these strips, while not being all time greats, were pretty funny. My personal favourites, Include Jan 1, 5 and 6. What I believe what made this week so good was that each strip had dialogue that led to a punchline that was true to the strip and funny unlike last week that had final panels, that didn’t wrap up the strip in a good way Overall Rating, 8.5/10.

Please give me comments on how I can get my reviews to improve, and don’t to forget to tell me your favourite strip of the week.

Another rerun? Do you guys think Mr. Peirce is slowing down a bit? I mean, he’s been doing making Big Nate for awhile now.

Hi, I read the big Nate books and found out about comics and now i am reading them!

Interesting, would have thought they pulled out egg salad.

I feel the same way about my school dinners. The worst part is, the only time I’m allowed packed lunch is when it is a school trip.

School lunches should be inspected every once in a while to check for cleanliness during cooking, and healthy (and edible) ingredients (that provide sufficient nutrition). P.S. 38 must be such a old and dilapidated school that the cooking area is completely dirty and has fallen off the maps for inspection (it is 100 years old).

I ate a lot of Splut in High School.

As part of a school experiment I had to do something similar to this, except I had to judge the food by taste rather than smell. All was going good until my brother talked mom into giving me a raw onion to bite into.

I would say 7/10 cause it’s a rerun

It’s just amazing how Nate’s nose can identify the small stuff in a sandwich! :D (Like honey mustard, tomato, and sesame bulky roll) I also really liked the comic strip in which Nate identified the food in Randy’s lunch bag! :)

My old school once served spaghetti and the “meatballs” were GREEN, the spaghetti was undercooked, and the sauce had congealed.

Do you think Mr. Peirce is on sabbatical?

Does anyone remover the comic where Nate told Wink to pick up his son from oboe lessons? Well, I have a theory that Chad is Wink’s son since he plays the oboe. Also, when Nate’s dad took Coach John’s place on his Little League, Chad said that he was happy that his dad take no interest into his life. So, I conclude that Chad, in theory, is Wink Summer’s son!

Today is officially 27 years since Lincoln Peirce started this strip!

Pibgorn is either in reruns itself or the writer is reusing old scripts with nice new art. I’m sure I recognize the Satori/Dream of Jeannie story line.

Is nobody else concerned that the lunch lady is pink? XD That seems a bit suspicious. When I went to middle school the only time I ate the lunch provided was when it was pizza day, for that very reason. To this day that was the only time that I’ve had stuffed crust.

Huh. Mr. Peirce (or Pierce; THERE, now one of them is right and no one has any reason to complain) must be taking a 2 week vacay.

That is a pretty interesting color of a casserole. What’s next is they probably spray the food with “Fabreze” to make it less putrid but it still is.

For some reason I think Pierce doesn’t have enough time on his hands to create new comics, and edit them to “spoofify” the comics to get them on GoComics, so that’s why he creates reruns?Some of these comments made me laugh and smile more than the comic itself.
