Yes, I know these aren’t as good as the actual Big Nate comic strip by Lincoln Peirce, but I’m just having fun with it, especially since reruns are going on now.

Big Nate Trivia Question: What is the name of Jefferson Middle School’s principal?

This gives me the chance to tell everyone the remedy for stinky shoes. Put them in a plastic bag and leave them in the freezer for two days. The germs causing the odor are killed, but there are more on your feet, so repeat as needed ( or soak your feet in bleach water while your shoes freeze). I’ve wanted to tell many people this, but it’s very difficult to work it into a conversation without being offensive.

I had students with that problem. Sometimes it is the socks, sometimes the shoes, sometimes just poor hygiene.

This would have been a better gag if we hadn’t seen Nate’s feet until panel 8.
