Nate obviously had an accomplice to help him pull this off. When Ellen turned around to yell at Nate someone else snatched the money while she wasn’t looking

Hmmm, thought she stopped counting at 25. He is at 28 when she finds out.The mystery thickens.

He’s going to get it now!

That is some true Hidden magic right there.

And then Mr. Wright starts counting: “29, 30, 31…”

He’s counting the number of whacks Nate’s gonna get across his butt if he doesn’t return the money he took.

I get the humor, but larceny?

“Dear goComics, Please give us a mute option. Thank you.”

Maybe he had that plan, knew she wouldn’t want the card trick and then wait for her to come home from work to count her money she made. And then BOOM!

I wonder how he did that?

If this name-calling, bickering and spamming continues, Mr. Peirce could stop allowing comments. The cartoonist has that choice. That would be a shame, since I like Big Nate and I enjoy the comics. So if those of you who like to misbehave don’t want to either get booted off GoComics, or have all of unable to make comments, please learn to behave yourself – be polite; it’s really not that difficult.

You still got to give him credit on the trick, Ellen. That was pretty amazing.
