Maybe if Nate tried imagining that towel was an old man’s towel or Mrs. Godfrey’s, a hot girl might come his way and tell him to keep her towel instead, hahaha.

There are as many males named Dana as there are females named Dana. Seriously! Wiki it if you’d like to find out.

Names are confusing. A friend name her girl Kendall which sounds like a man’s name to me. I knew that Dana would have to be a guy by the way.

I guess Nate’s never heard of Dana Carvey.

There is no Dana, only Zuul.

Meredith and Ashley (sp?) were also men’s names first. Go figure.

It’s funny how names evolve over the years. Some seem to be timeless, but others are only popular within certain age groups. A few, like in the strip, have actually changed from one gender to the other!

Can we talk about what a jerk that guy is?

I knew a guy named Marion.

True story: I was a server in an MLB ballpark, back in the day. (Sorry, not saying which team) I was taking a fan’s order. Now, back then we used to tap the order into a small handheld computer, radio it in to the kitchen and someone else would bring it out (the runner). So the fan asked, who’s gonna bring my order? “It all depends on who’s next in line in the kitchen,” I said. “Could be Maurice, could be Bob, could be Dana…” The fan immediately exclaimed, “Oo! I want Dana!” Guess he thought Dana would be a young, hot woman. Maybe he’d seen some of the other runners and hoped it was one of them. I smiled and said I’d see what I could do. Well, I got too busy to go back to the kitchen, but the order came out on time, and sure enough, Dana was the runner! …Need I tell you Dana was a 54-year-old guy with salt-n-pepper hair?! “Tom, meet Dana!” I said to the fan, with an evil little smile.

And then there is Dana Delany. MMMMMMMMM
