in the middle of a pretty good arc with potential character growth, and the comment section is at its worst. how ironiccomment section aside- i am quite liking this arc so far. nate is actually doing some self-reflecting and taking the first step to improve. hope we’ll get some more growth from him in next week strips

Nate, Teddy, Chad, Spitsy, and Wayne are walking down the sidewalk, looking everywhere for something to send themselves to the moon. However, they can’t find anything.

Nate: Ugh… there needs to be something useful around this neighborhood…

Wayne mumbles.

Teddy: You know dude, a neighborhood isn’t the… well, best place to search for a spaceship. You can’t expect to find one just lying on your next-door neighbor’s front lawn!

Chad: My grandma had a figurine of one in her bedroom! She yelled at me when I broke it… she got snapped by Alien Nichols.

Spitsy: Woof?

They continue to walk across the sidewalk. Fifteen minutes pass. Teddy found a toy airplane and Wayne found a huge boulder, but nothing else.

Spitsy: Woof…

Nate: I know Spitsy… we need to find something to get to the moon. So far, apart from Teddy’s airplane and Wayne’s rock, we have nothing that will help…

Chad: Wait, guys.

Chad stops walking and gets out his phone. The rest of the group stops walking too.

Chad: My grandma took me to the museum on an educational trip once. There, we found a ROCKET SHIP that was used for an actual mission. Maybe we could get on the rocket ship and use it to fly to the moon!

Wayne nods his head and mumbles.

Nate: Chad! That’s a great idea! We could go to the museum and use the rocket ship to fly to the moon! Now, where’s the museum?
