ULTRA NATE AND THE COVER-UP: PART 4

The elevator stops at the basement, where Gina seems to be fainting from the surprise of Nate being Ultra Nate. Ultra Nate takes a few steps towards Gina. He looks down at her.

Ultra Nate: Heh, I bet she was really surprised when she found out I was a superhero. Heh.

Ultra Nate spots the piece of paper that was printed out by “The Person Identifier” and reads it. He rips it apart and puts it in his pocket.

Ultra Nate: Sigh… there must be some way I could get that memory out of her head… if only I had the power to-

Before Ultra Nate could finish his sentence, Gina wakes up to the surprise of him.

Gina: Ohhh… what happened…?

Ultra Nate: YIPES!

Ultra Nate hides behind one of the machines in the basement as Gina wakes up. She tries to reach for the piece of paper, but notices it’s missing.

Gina: Wait, where’s the piece of- hold on a second… if the piece of paper is missing, that would mean… somebody else is here…

Ultra Nate (thinking): SHOOT!

Ultra Nate turns invisible, which happens to be another one of his powers. Gina looks around the basement to see if anybody is there. Eventually, she looks behind the machine Ultra Nate is hiding behind. Since she can’t see him, she moves on.

Ultra Nate (thinking): Good, I guess I can wait in the elevator until Gina decides to go up to her room!

Ultra Nate tip-toes to the elevator, but his invisibility wears off. At that exact moment, Gina turns around and sees Ultra Nate.

Gina: HEY!

“Well, we can start remaking the sauce.” Nate said as Dee Dee cleaned out the pot. “Yeah,” she replied, “We’ll have to. But I’ll have to change some of the ingredients. Because I don’t think burned tomato sauce is supposed to dissolve food scraps.” “Wait,” Nate asked, “have you ever made a pizza before?”

“Nope.” Dee Dee said in reply. “How reassuring.” Nate said with a roll of his eyes. “This is going to be a disaster.” he thought. “Alright, got all the sauce out.” Dee Dee said. “Ok, now for the ingredients.” Nate said. They worked together and soon the sauce was cooking. “Alright, now to slice the toppings.” Dee Dee said. Nate grabbed the cheese, pepperoni, ham, and, other toppings off the counter and tried to put them near the cutting board.

But he slipped on a puddle of brown sauce and all the ingredients went flying. Luckily, it was still in its packaging. But that didn’t stop the block of cheese to hit Dee Dee smack dab on the head. “OW!” she cried. “Oh man, Dee Dee, I’m sorry! I slipped!” Nate said as he picked himself up off the floor. “Its okay Nate.” Dee Dee said as she picked up the cheese. “I’m fine. How about you?” “No broken bones, bruises, or injuries.” Nate replied, “Y’know, Dee Dee, maybe this was a bad idea. Maybe we could order…” “No way!” Dee Dee interrupted. “We are going to make this pizza even if it kills us!” “Oh, brother.” Nate thought as he facepalmed himself.

Big Nate. Rock’n’roll, baby! – Part 2

Unlike you may think, we finally picked a song to perform on the casting. It was actually one of songs we can play. We all were excited. Well, not everyone. I could see, Artur was shivering. “You okay?”, I asked.

“Yes, I’m fine”, Artur replied.

In a few seconds, we started playing our instruments. After the song ended, Teddy asked the judge:

“How we were playing?”

“It was good”, the jugde said. “Wait when everybody else here will perform, I’ll decide, if you passed, or not”.

It took half an hour, when the jury decided, who passes. A few good bands and singers are going to give a performance two weeks later. We also passed. Francis and Teddy started cheering, but Artur ran off the scene. I went behind him.

I stopped, when he crouched down and started silently crying. I sat next ot him and asked again.

“I asked you dozen minutes ago, if you’re alright. You sure, you’re okay?”, I asked again.

“No”, Arutur sniffed.

“Why?”

“*Sigh… I have to quit the band”.

“WHAT?! You’re our singer!”

“My parents say I shouldn’t be friends with you, anymore”, he continued. “They say you might still have a crush on Jenny and you want to steal her heart. You don’t have a crush on her, do you?”

“No! I’m over it for a few months! (Footnote from author: Nate actually stopped having a crush on her a few years ago, but that would break the fourth wall.)”

“I told them the same thing, but they just won’t listen!”, Artur sighed.

As Trudy is in her helicopter, Timo Werner is taking some shooting drills. He misses the first 2 shots, then somehow hits the helicopter and the helicopter comes crashing down..

Timo Werner: Yeah!! Turbo Timo hits the target!

Tuchel: Hitting something you weren’t aiming for does not count, Timo!

Timo Werner: aw, man!

Trudy: GAHHHHHH!!!!!!

The helicopter crashes down on the training field but Trudy, Timo, and Tuchel all survive.

Timo: Oh, sorry about that! I haven’t been soo good ever since I came to Chelsea

Trudy: That was you?! That was a terrible shot! Even my Great Great Grandma could do better!

Trudy: Now if you don’t mid, i’ve got a boy to take revenge on.

In the first part, Trudy secretly put a tracker on Nate. Trudy teleports right to Nate.
