End of the arc. Pretty standard for prank day, tad bit disappointing, though I feel it could have been much worse.

Arc: 5.5/10

Strip: 5/10

loving the whistling nate face in the last panel.

of all of these, the sprinklers on Mrs. Godzilla was the best.

As if the badger attack wasn’t enough… all in all, this Prank Day arc has been quite decent; one letdown, two great ones, and two average “animal” pranks.

Poor Nichols. He has to physically suffer and gets real injuries. Back then, Nate would have done things embarrassing to the teachers, but never injure them. He’s changed.

3/10 Really lacklustre pranks. Was expecting more.

Plot twist: The python chokes out Nichols and we get a month-long arc of Nate in juvie for 3rd degree murder.

…..had to shoehorn a last prank into the last day of school, didn’t you Nate?………now let’s see if he has to attend summer school again……..

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, Nate has gone way too far in his pranks. Poor Mr. Nichols. I’m genuinely concerned for this man.

9/10, it’s pretty obvious the python’s gotta go, so there won’t be a new animal in Big Nate besides Sherman the hamster.

“Well, so long, Nate. See you in sixth grade for the 30th year in a row.”

I know it would be difficult to come up with new teachers and whatnot, but it couldn’t hurt to actually bump Nate up to 7th grade after THIRTY FREAKING YEARS!
