Let me guess: he’s gonna try to “fix” it, the paper will look horrible in the end, but Ms. Clarke will still know that he used A.I., he’ll get an F and start whining, and Francis will be like “Told you so!”

And yes, I get that the joke is “ha ha Nate stupid”. News flash: humer is subjective, and hearing that joke for the 1 billionth time in a storyline so predictable you could call all of it from Monday’s first panel is tiring.

It seems like the school would put a block on some websites on school grounds, including ones featuring the use of AI (I’ve never used artificial intelligence, so maybe it’s too invasive to block at all?)

So you would rather present a poor-quality paper than be caught cheating, Nate? I mean, sure you don’t wanna get caught, but you could just edit the paper to make sure it looks like you’ve written it yourself, without any spelling/grammar errors

Nate wrote a murder/mystery novel a few years ago. Francis told him to stop then. He should do this again!

He’s gonna get a lower grade if he does that, he should probably change certain sentences instead.

Some people work harder at not working. Might as well just…DO THE WORK!

As an aspiring artist, Nate should be out in the streets shouting AGAINST anything AI.

If he adds lots of spelling and grammatical errors, how will he know that they’re even wrong, since he doesn’t get them right in the first place?

You’re gonna get a bad grade ANYWAY if you add those misspellings and grammar errors. Isn’t the whole point of using A.I. to exploit your work to get a good grade?

Strip rating: 1/10 I don’t like how this arc is going.

Considering how bad this school, Won’t be shocked if he gets away it, if it were real life, but because of thee old rule stating that comics are funnier if character loses, it won’t. I would just say that the rule doesn’t work anymore because of how many times it’s been done. Nothing towards the Author, but please think of something else that doesn’t involve Nate getting yelled at/detention/psycho kids in P.S 38 beating him up.

Nate definitely has a handle on this! He’ll go places, for certain lengths of time, whether he likes it or not, unless he hires an amazing lawyer.

Ok…Pierce really needs to change the formula, like other commenters(Daphne’s doodlebug and BigNateFanForever1) have said: “What’s the point of an arc if you can see it’s ending coming from a mile away?” This is a common thing that happens people who have had success with either movies, books, or comics. They see that one thing working and they keep doing this one thing over and over again till it get stale because it “works”.

Actually, it’s not a bad idea. In high school, I discovered a mathematical algorithm that guaranteed a 100% score on my French tests. I wasn’t that good a student so I intentionally missed enough questions so I still got an “A” for the class but it wasn’t suspicious.
