My theory from yesterday is kind of a combination of Francis and Dee Dee’s theories

I think of reincarnation as, in the afterlife, being able to choose some basic things about who you’re going to be reincarnated as such as where they live, the language they’ll speak, their hobbies, etc. and then the rest is chosen for you. That’s just my opinion on it, though. I’m a reincarnation guy.

When you depart this space/time is it relevant where/when you’ll be “next?” There may be only one. The world’s a stage where you/I play all the parts. Imperial “We” indeed.

If reincarnation is real, I doubt it is linear.

I have read about reincarnation in a couple religions and both allowed for the possibility that once the soul departs the body, it is no longer bound by time and you could be reincarnated in an earlier life. You could even come back as your grandfather.

Something tells me that Nate doesn’t finish this assignment in time and has homework over Christmas.

Over the top reaction from Dee Dee, but aside from that,this is a pretty normal strip from Peirce. Dee Dee is kinda being a jerk here…but thats just normal I guess for Big Nate.

I don’t think this is as harsh as people think. Coming from Dee Dee seems a little off, though. This feels more like a Francis line.

I’m not sure you get much choice in what or who you come back as. The odds really aren’t in anyone’s favor, especially with trillions of insects on the list.
