Gutten morgan, although it’s still night as I type this. It looks like this will be the new spot for a while, until it gets overwhelmed with trolls. Just don’t feed them, they can’t stand being ignored.

I flit in and out all day long, and more out than in with the arrival of nice weather.

If by chance you happened to read one of my posts from yesterday, you’ll know that I never take the credit, my best Friend forever, He gets all the credit. Humor is indeed the best medicine for real. Even in the chemo room, believe it or not, we have a lot of fun. Once a woman with breast cancer, whipped out her fake boobs and passed them around so everyone could marvel at how real they looked and felt. It was hilarious. Joy, that was a big storm last night. I was surprised that my girlies were not freaking out as they usually do. Alas, more t-storms today. Have a blessed day all. Oh yes, in regards to the comic, “The Man”, I love it when they say that.

johnnydoc5 i should be okay. i went to the doc. and they put spacers in my mouth. i feel like my jaw is broken. cant eat or drink bc it hurts to swallow. (spelling is probley wrong) turns out it is my teeth were they put the spacers at that hurt not just the jaw. it dosent look infected, but they are moving my teeth so that could be why the pain. its like flossing and haveing the floss get stuck and having to leave it there. no fun what so ever. then to top it off i get braces thursday at 8:30am. just shoot me now. but i took some pain killers and maybe it will go away. fingers crossed, i need to eat. thanks for asking. but i think im okay.

so do we all live in diff. states? i live in Louisiana. how about you?

Morning johnny and tabby! tabby, I’m in Florida and it’s really windy here right now. We’re expecting thunderstorms too. I’m so sorry about your spacers. Two of my daughters have braces, so I know it’s not fun. I gave my girls Motrin and or Anbesol, when they had their spacers in. Warm , salt water rinses are good too. It will get better for you. I think the braces aren’t as bad as the spacers, but they do take some getting used to.

Morning Carmy! I used to live in Omaha so I know what you mean about the weather in Chicago. Omaha had two days of spring & fall (each, mind you) whether you wanted them or not! Then it was either way too hot or way too cold! As for the German, I learned from my grandparents!

Good day all. Tabby, I’ve been there with the braces thing and it does get better. In the meantime, plan for scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes or spaghetti when the wires get adjusted.

im loving this! i think it is great how we are getting to know eachother a little more. we could be neighbors for all we now and not relise it. i love how joy and carmy live in the same state. heck they may run into eachout other one day.

also thanks for all of the ideas about what to drink/eat with this lovely spacer condition.

carmy, if you dont mind me asking… how many children do you have? are they all girls?

Tabby: I had braces for two years in my late 30s, early 40s. The pain goes away. It will hurt each time they tighten the braces, just take some pain killers for a few days. Eat soft foods until you get used to the hardware, and keep those teeth and braces clean so you don’t get cavities. The results will be worth it, so think ahead to your goal. :-) Hang in there, girl

North central AZ for me. Weather here is much better than it was in the Midwest. My grandparents spoke German, but I never learned it, except a few words here and there.

Of course I don’t mind. I have 4 girls. Their ages are 17, 13, 11 and 9. The oldest will graduate in 2010, and the ortho has promised to remove her braces in time for graduation. The 2nd girl is in middle school, she’s in band, did basketball, now in softball. 3rd girl is in gifted, won her school spelling bee, got eliminated in the county bee. 4th daughter is our special angel. She is autistic and she is a very, very happy girl.

Joy I learned all of the good cuss words from my dad’s dad! He was Bavarian but sounded more like a Prussian which was my mom’s side! I always know when I’ve had enough Bier because I start singing German beer drinking songs…and you don’t want to hear me sing!!!!

I live in Michigan and from the sound of it, I live 30 degrees from anyone, it is cold and rainy here. tabby I had braces a couple years back, and it wasn’t pleasant, now that I lost my retainer, I am having flashbacks and getting paranoid about my teeth getting messed up again.

tabby the dentist/orthodontist have a different definition of pain, their definition is that it is “a little sore” mine was more like “did someone just punch out all my teeth?” Don’t mean to scare you, that pain is brief, and I never took painkillers. Good night doc. Thanks for the food burgers JFri. I got some corn on the cob, out of season, but still good, try grilling those. It is fantastic.

johnnydoc5/ jdoc5 that is how i am feeling like Crap! how broke my jaw!! its crazy bc the pain is going from my teeth to my jaw. what is funny is that i have spacers and i have to wear a splint at night. the splint is like what the football players wear, but made to fit the teeth perfect, moldings of your teeth. it is to fix my jaw and keep my teeth out of my palet. dont worry about scaring me, im more scared and nervous “then a long tailed cat in a room full of rockingchairs.” im taking pain killers and its not killing it. ugh.

johnnydoc5: My husband grills fresh corn, then cuts it off of the cob, and mixes it with fresh lime juice, fresh cilantro, and some grilled sweet onions and sweet peppers. Delicious.

okay i am going to go try to work on my homework. im behind. i wish my english teacher would give us something intresting to read. it went from a terrible blow your brains out book to an even slower book. its only 100 pgs i can normaly do that in about 30 min or so, not this one. 3 days on only on pg 13 or 14. its bad. Tabbylynn - I’m dreadfully sorry too hear about your teeth and jaw hurting. I lost a filling one night and exposed a nerve and it felt like I got stabbed in the jaw with an ice pick. I can only imagine from what you described earlier your pain and discomfort. I feel like such a wuss after what I went through. Hope you get better REAL FAST!!!

Yes, I cheated. I have several translator sites that I can tab. My grandparents were German, I studied german in college but have forgotten much. I still know some words but my grammer is terrible.

Dry here’s your burgers….I’d start out easy! I didn’t know how much sauce to put on it! And here’s a six-pack….you may NEED it! I haven’t done anything with the farming community, mostly because I don’t know that segment of the market or how to get started in it.

JFri if your tools can be used by farmers, you could contact your local County Extension office, your state farm bureau, your local conservation district office, etc. to get some ideas.

Get Smart only show I could watch when we moved into our new house when I was a kid. Took a couple months to get complete cable. All we got was NBC! Then I met my future husband, and he lived on Get Smart and Hogan’s Heroes!

Last year for Christmas, my oldest son bought him the Hogans Heroes collection. I never saw his face light up so much for any other Christmas present in all these years!!

I saw an article in the paper about a woman taking some children out there. Anyway, I grew up by South Padre Island, TX and now we’re by the Atlantic and there is a really nice Beach really close by.

JFri, It sounds familar, I’m pretty sure I saw every episode. Sometimes I’m a bit slow on the uptake. I might remember it tomorrow. Marg, That a very nice little jam. I liked the mandoguitar, and Flaco was playing his accordion. I didn’t see him, but I heard him alright. Flaco used to play with Freddy Fender. Freddy grew up in the same little Texas town that my dad grew up in, San Benito. My uncle used to play in Freddy’s band locally, but he opted to stay in Texas while Freddy went and got famous. When my uncle died, Freddy came home and served as a pallbearer (I know just like Bob Martin and Tom Landry). In San Benito they have a water tower with Freddy’s face painted on it. It’s kinda like WOW.

Hijole, I almost made a serious goof today. I did our Illinois taxes last week and discovered we were going to have pay almost 1700.00! I emailed my husband and he was not happy. So today, I went to our saved return and I decided to give it a good looking over before I forked over the money, and I found a boo-boo. I fixed the boo-boo and YEA, 0 due!! We don’t get a refund either, but YEA, 0 due.

JFri I think he’s gone over to the dark side, although I still think he cares about Jack! I was so surprised by that out come last night! I think Jon Voight’s (sp) assistant is going to turn out to be the good guy! I think he’s playing his hand and waiting for the right time to play his cards.

I love that show! Never thought one way or the other about Keifer Sutherland until he did this show! I know it’s so fantastic and unbelivelable in RL but I love it! And sometimes I think, it’s not that far off the mark, but no politics here!

Hello and probably goodnight real soon for me. Sweet dreams my cyoer friends and all of us here! carmy marg and JFri. Will try to say a quick good morning tmr. I will always be at Overboard first thing! Will be around later around 5 or 6 PM. Had a LONG day, tired, and with all this talk of food, still haven’t eaten! :-( Will raid my fridge for leftover ham, macaroni salad and then hit the pillow for HOPEFULLY , a good nights sleep!
