I sense a quake. At first you could bearly feel it, but now it is a full fledged furry trembler.

Dusty is about to experience pain, not insignificant pain… real deep down and dirty pain.

Okay breakfast.

The breakfast today will consist of pan-fried trout or apple, sage pork sausage. Hashbrown potatoes fried crispy with an omelet of carmelized onions, cherry tomatoes, basil and buffalo mozzarella. I have homemade wheat toast with Tupelo honey or strawberry freezer jam. Nuclear coffee, tea or Bloody Mary’s for beverage options. I also have homemade scones with european butter and cherry preserves.

Cleo, I’ll have tea, scones, sausages, and a bloody Mary.

MoPar - Good luck on the sale of your truck. I just recently sold my motor home. It really felt good to be rid of it. I had so many good times in it, but I just wanted to be done with it. It was a a big relief to part with it. It will happen, soon it will be out of your life and you can breathe a sigh of relief.

Good morning, everyone. Just a few words before I head on out to work here on this first day of September 2009: First of all MoPar, enjoy this weather. Don’t jinx it like we did five and said said we’re fed up with rain. That might’ve the cause of that drought we had! Second, one week from today is when I’ll be rejoining you all for this fun fest again. My new shift at the retail store next week will be from 9:00am-2:00pm local time. That’s it, see you either at lunch or later this afternoon/evening.

I completely left FBOFW. I read that comic thru all the years as many of us did, watching the Pattersons grow up along woth my kids as Lynn wrote in real time. Then when she started the replay from the beginning the comments varied between nasty to just plain ridiculous so I stepped away for a while. I do not want to do the same at C&H, but I have stopped paying much attention to the comments. So consider the Trolls ignored.

BTW, we ignored them at Overboard and we hardly ever see them any more.

The other sites and this one are very, very different. You may not see a post on the other sites for hours. Here you are sure to see posts most of the day and half the night hours!! More time for garbage comments to be seen!

Saucy - I just checked my KS DL - no hair color listed, either. I wonder if they started leaving it off once they started requiring photos? (Yes, I’m old enough to remember when they didn’t have photos on DL, and they were on just plain paper - no lamination.) With wigs, dye jobs, hair graying, shaved heads, etc., I can understand why that category isn’t on there anymore.

hi Tribe just a quick prework visit today, too many errands i had to do this morning. i’ll have to find time to catch up on the toons later on. DocToon, i enjoyed the link to the strip you provided on page 1. as for DL’s, ontario no longer lists hair colour or eye colour. MoPar, i can sympathize with “salt & pepper” as mine is all salt (but then, i started out as a blonde).

i start getting ready in about 20 minutes, so maybe i’ll try a bit of a toon tour. will check in to say goodbye, later.

Chores done I heated up some sake and it got overheated and i splashed some on the back of my hand. At first I thought that I had scalded myself, but fortunately I did no damage. Scared the living crud out of me though. It just goes to show how close to disaster we are just doing simple little things each day.

Thanks Doc I’ve missed you guys too. I just have to do so many things in RL, I haven’t been able to get here.

Shika i miss you, but im not here much either so what can i say? Doc your body is used to getting a certian amount of sleep. if you have always or almost always only need 6 hours of sleep then your body wakes up and tells u okay your 6 hours are up time to get out of bed. its like having an alarm in your body.

Hi Carmy Thanks. I’m seeing a childhood friend. We used to visit every year until I got sick. It’s been 4 or 5 years now- long over due.

I only have three days there, but we will make up for lost time with coffee and swimming, kayaking, walking and more coffee and giggling talk.
