I decided that I wanted to change my name over to the name of my fictional protagonist (with any grace, to see the light of publication sometime this calendar year, one way or another). Alain Harper is a lot less pretentious in its way than Chris Alan Starbright and so that’s what I’ve renamed him. You could say that Divine CocoMocha Interdimensional Ltd. is under new management. And the avatar I’ve chosen is based on my current model for him (you’ve seen him before a good many times).

The problem is that my avatar isn’t loading and I notice that Little Sister’s avatar isn’t loading either. What’s up with that? Is anyone else having a problem with this and could it have to do with the fact our avatars are new?

I see the problem is definitely on the other end. None of my pictures are being accepted. Alas. They must have forgotten to feed the squirrels (running around in their circular exercisers) their morning caffeine injections.

OOOPS I missed breakfast. It is such a springlike day in New England, I decided Spring cleaning was in order. After confering with my pillow, I discovered it was 8 AM, far too late t start such an ambitious project. Weatherman says winter returns tomorrow. The best laid plans of mice and men.

Very nice day that was Thursday and I missed some of it. Little cooler for Friday. Here today public school is teacher-inservice day and off for President’s day. I don’t work for public school. I’m not sure I will try to get on Saturday. Busy two days womens fair at civic center. Helping my sister at their vendor booth.

Yes I am. With as many women and girls expected this will be big. I have to try and convince women the product is great like a dressing and sweet. Last year one bottle was stolen. My sister was the only one working it then. Our mom was with us and colasped from illness. I don’t want that to happen again. The center had an ambulance in route for her. Not needed.

My brother-in-law will be further north and has a helper for one day. Sports boat and travel show.

Not only helping but I asked to use as a writting assignment for English. Approved hard to be descriptive. From days ago is why I asked what hickory taste like to some. People have different ways to describe this flavor. My paragraph or two 12 lines only I have 13 so far. With three a small explination of transfer from older parents to son and wife (my sister).

Hello again. I have a 2nd counsion lives in Alaska might have seen those northern lights. Commercial airline and went through those northern lights. She told me those are light reflecting off of ice crystals and very bitter cold. Being that close and though cold seeing those lights must have been awesome.

So far I haven’t been knocked off, but things do tend to load slowly. Just FYI, I sent in a request to GoComics Tech Support just now - probably not the first to do so.

HopeandJoy….we’ve seen the Northern Lights once in Alaska, and once here after we first moved. It’s a been a quiet solar activity period for the last five years, but it’s starting to get active for the next five. So, with this big solar flare, they expect the lights to be visible farther south than normal.

Montana Lady We did see them too in Alaska probably 7 years ago. They are astounding. Hope you will see them again or meteor showers again.

I am waiting for our English friends to come online so we can use our new webcam to chat with them. All exciting for me. Hope it works.

Montana Lady - I just made a lot of rice. Now I have to decide what to fix with it.

We are just having hamburger “steaks” a salad and fruit…rice might go well with it and a drizzle of mushroom soup??

Okay……Sojo and Hope…….I have some leftover pork slices from a roast……I’ll make some rice and add some mushroom soup for gravy……..haven’t been to the store since we got back, so, it’ll have to be some frozen green beans. Sounds pretty good.
