Spring here came like a lamb in March and left the same way. We have voting today.

B ig Sister I don’t know if you seen my thank you for your information about apartment living. I did use on my report. Been decades ago since we had did a form of renting on land. We went from house to house to are present location. And I think we upscale to fast. Twas so nice not paying a mortgage for 14 years. Now I regret not building up on a savings account. I know times have change and landlords of rentals want good people to families living on premises. We had a mobile home in our young days, there were problems with others. Fights of different types, loud music to cover family scabbles, to drug use, and being harrassed. We did complain to landlord but not much happened, so enough we took a loss on our mobile home and go out. Lived nicely in a house.

I wonder if Washington DC will close, means Federal courts will be affected. Mail will run and SS checks or direct deposit will go through for recipients.

KAB The USPS has been off budget since 78. If they make a profit, the money goes in general fund. The few times they run in the red, mouthy Congressmen demand an investigation. What a shut down will mean is people will wonder why the Democrats, when they controlled both houses and the presidency, couldn’t pass a budget. What if they gave a war and nobody came?
