Morning TRIBE! I had a terrible week but this is a new dawn. The newspaper came as I made my coffee, My dog and cats (and girlfriend) are still asleep, and I am able to read GoComics without somebody wagging his tail at me, rubbing my ankles, or saying, “It would be a good day to paint the porch.” Tell me God is not in Heaven.
Just checking in. It’s going to be a real lazy Sunday. There’s the Indy Car race today from Brazil, so that’s my excitement for the day. Love those races!
Nice thing is James helps me out quite a bit and is learning at a fairly fast rate. He also appears to enjoy it. It’s also how he makes his money when we get paid jobs.
Well, I’ve got to start shutting down the commercial account dept now. I’ll be heading home to work on the van. I’ll check in with you all a little later. If I don’t see you before you shut down for the evening, have a good one, Grog.
Hey TRIBE It was a beautiful day in Southern New England. I strolled in Red Sox T-shirt, shorts, and flip flop till someone upstairs caused my belt to break (had to be foreign construction, not belly pressure). Felt like a gang banger pulling up my pants.
Hey–they just had a report about High Wind to the east of here. Here–we’ve only got 20-25 mph winds. Only I could swear some of those gusts are higher.
Wow, it is quiet today!
I’m surprised Sojo or Kab didn’t mention the damage the high winds did in ICT this week. Blew a couple of utility poles down, plus a substantial sized tree or two. Just straight-line winds, no tornadoes suspected.
I’ve been here, sort of, Rmom.. I’ve been busy doing some things around the kitchen. My last post was toward the end of page 1. I’ll me here for another 45 minutes.
I can relax for a bit now. I’m making myself a Bloody Caesar.
Good afternoon, everyone. Just came back from my walk. The roads are all melted, and I enjoy checking for new animal tracks. Saw a good set of our Mountain Lion tracks, plus some small prints that I think are a domestic cat. (It’s a shame that people drive up our hill to drop off unwanted animals!)
Time to start dinner……Orange Chicken, with rice pilaf, and a small Mandarin salad. any takers?
Hi, Wolfie! - Good job! Our A6 has developed a front-end shimmy, but hubby hasn’t diagnosed the problem yet. If it turns out to be a CV, he said it won’t be as simple of a job as it was on the PT.
Wolfie - Good to know. He was looking at something on the Dodge Ram yesterday, I don’t know if he bothered looking at the A6 to find the problem. We just put two new tires on the front, so he wanted to do some checking to see if that was the problem. However, I’d noticed the shimmy previously, so I don’t think it’s the tires.
At least his work schedule is back to 5 days a week now, so maybe he’ll be able to find time to do something about it.
Hi, Doc!
I bought some Easter candy last night, since it was on sale. It seemed like there was a lot leftover for a week later. I just couldn’t resist buying M&M’s at 25% off, but I’ll let my sons split the bag.
Wolfie - No racket, so guess it is probably something else. It comes and goes, I haven’t been at the wheel, so haven’t figured out just what triggers it. He’ll drive it to work this week, so he’ll have ample opportunity to road test it.
Good evening all. I knew about the winds tough driving in and we here didn’t loose power like west ICT did and my mom lives close to mid ICT. Didn’t really know about any damage until news time. Today is cooler.
For the chocolate’s your talking about. I know what’s up with it. Prices are too high. We stopped buying it. And doesn’t help my system can’t torate too much of it.
Well I finally got my rough draft essay back, and yes I have a few changes and couple rewrites. I’m not writter. I rather input someone’s else’s work.
Spring class is almost over. I hope to celebrate. Let all know final grade I don’t want to take class over. Basic English was very tough.
