Good afternoon Tribe and all. What a busy day. I guess become my mom’s caregiver. Her brother and nieces came this afternoon to visit. To wish her well on her surgery 7/28 that will be a long morning. Report in at 5am.One more week of class then it’s over to see if I passed.
I said tomato plants, because I’m still not getting any tomatoes from them. Something is biting off the fruit before I can even tell it is there. I put some netting over one plant yesterday, and bought more netting for the other plant. I hope that will discourage the birds or bugs from snacking on my tomato blossoms.
Rmom – The T-storms should be going away after the sunset and we may not get much or any rain. Tomato plants need a lot of water all the time. One place I lived I had a neighbor that had good tomatoes. He made holes with a post hole digger (I think about 4 foot deep) around the plants and filled them with straw. He kept them full of water. He said that kept water for the plants every day.

I know that is not exactly a breakfast menu, but, it is still evening here, and a glass of Merlot with one of the above still sounds pretty nice!

Well I’m getting a late start to it, but I better start getting to my errands. I thought I’d do some online shopping first though.

Instead of going to Morning Kolache, I decided on a pepper bacon feast – which sometimes happens when I buy a new package of bacon.
