For those of us too young to remember, Horn and Hardock was the hight of American automation way before my time. You would enter, put your tray on the rack, and slide open little windows to receive premade food in a modern hygenic manner. Pies cakes and beverages, ( think they had entrees too but back then (if I were old enough to remember, all I bought was pie and cake). You would pay the uniformed man at the end and take your bounty to a table that hadn’t been washed in a year. I repeat, I am far too young to remember this shop at 34th and 5th

Good Morning, Tribe. Just got back from a VA Hosp appointment. Had an eye pressure test. I have a different eye doctor once AGAIN! Great doctors from Loyola, etc. but, they have to figure out what exactly is the procedure with me as what I have is extremely rare. Fun, fun, fun!

I do more talking to get them acquainted with what I have. The previous doc’s notes do not explain it all in fine detail unfortunately.

Hi, Sojo. It’s just a tad irritating because they have a tendency to want to start from scratch with the medication so that they can visually see the changes. It feels like a vicious circle.

Good Morning, everybody! (including SRMom, ♠Lonewolf♠ and Sojo)+++++We’ve had a small chance of thunderstorms several nights this week—but only got sprinkles. This afternoon it sounds like they might get more serious. Unfortunately, after that it’s supposed to get a tad warmer, especially for the next few nights. I don’t mind warmish days so much, as long as the nights are cool enough to get the place cooled off again.

Well, they’ve been wrong before. We can hope the next time they are wrong, it’s in the direction of nicer weather than they predicted.

I can’t believe the TRIBE offered one word of condolences for the Sox humiliation last night. Here in Hartford, half way between the rival teams, I say many NY (next year) hats but not a single B. Signs from the gods.

Hi, Everyone, It’s getting hotter up here….86 so far today, and tomorrow and Sunday it’s supposed to be in the 90’s.

We’re planning on going to the airshow at Malstrom AFB in Great Falls tomorrow. The Blue Angels will be flying. I just love high performance aircraft!! Their sound just goes right through me!

Rmom…….are the chest pains your Hubby is getting have anything to do with the high humidity?

We actually got some rain in the ’hood today. For the second day in a row, I could drive home with the windows rolled down all the way home. But by the time I got to Bay Area Blvd, it was raining. But it was so nice and refreshing, I just Let It Rain on in, as Amanda Marshall sang.

bmonk – Your praying must have been helpful. We haven’t gone to the ER this week…yet.

M’Lady – I’m guessing my husband’s chest pressure has more to do with his blocked artery. He’s scheduled for an angioplasty on Thursday. When he had his heart attack, one was completely blocked, the other was at 70%. The cardiologist put a stent in the completely blocked artery, but said it would cause a major heart attack, if he did both arteries at the same time.
