noicant, I know nothing about Carmen Miranda nor do I want to know anything about her. I neither read the tabloid trash nor watch anything to do with celebs. She is a nobody to me.

Woo Hoo………more Polish food!!!! Do you know how hard it is to find real Polish Kielbasa up here in Montana? We have to import it from the Polish market in So.Cal., or Minnesota (just as far). The same goes for real Italian Sausage…………

We got an inch of snow yesterday, and the ski resort 13 miles away got 7 inches. They’ll certainly be running for a few more weeks, at least if it doesn’t melt from the 50 degrees we’re expecting this week.

Hello Plods – Thanks for the info.

Hi Sojo. I can’t tell by your post if your being home is a good thing or not.

Plods – I think i may be better then the first time I left rehab so I should be okay. Medicare only allows 100 days of rehab. It resets to 100 if you are out 60 days and spend four nights in the hospital. If my kidney stone problem had occured 15 days later It would of reset to 100 days. Since I wasn’t out long enough I only had the days I had left over since the first time I went to rehab. If I don’t get the rehab days reset befor I have another problem I guess I’m just out of luck.

I guess her hat wasn’t enough to launch her into superstardom.

The Sojourner are you talking about your actual house or Assisted Living home?I am working on Informative Essay. Had to make sure my cite source is correct. For my part I’m really dreading this essay 3.5 to 5 pages. I found a some sources to right about on nutrient based on labels. Or nutrient.

Sorry all I do not stay around. We have a very windy day here. Thinking of going for a walk and think out my essay. Then get some writing done. I hope everyone is doing fine. Me I’m recovering from sinus issues. Grass is growing and trees are budding. We need rain I know goes with mowing.

i did a wiki on Carmen Miranda just now and scanned it reel quick. she was at the time the highest paid performer in the world. her fans in Brazil criticized her for becoming “Americanised”. her last performance was on live tv on the Jimmy Durante show in 1955. when she was dancing she had a heart attack. she finished the show and had a second heart attack and it killed her. sad story. but she died doing something she loved. we should all be so lucky.
