Still on our trek through So. Cal., and boy has it been hot! It was 82 yesterday in the “Valley”! Traffic wasn’t too bad, but I still don’t understand why everyone has to stop to read the electronic signs! There was a 20 minute back up because everyone came to a screeching halt (about 9 p.m.) to read about future road work.

So, if there is anything left at the breakfast buffet, Alain, I’ll come and get a big glass of Berry Keifer. Thanks very much!

Hello Montana Lady – Have fun!

Hi, Montana Lady, 82 may seem hot to someone who’s had to endure a northern winter, but 82 this time of year is pretty much normal here in southeast TX – and I love it.

I always loved my trips from Montreal to the south in the yucky late fall/winter/early spring months. Weather like we’re having now would have been considered ideal by my friends & I.

Hmmm. Navy SEALs don’t consider poodles unmanly. They are their favorite dogs to come along on the teams.
