(fried grasshoppers are out, however, although we might be persuaded to put on some old episodes of KUNG FU on the wide screen)

I’d go with Led Zeppelin posters and skip the Kung Foo (typo intentional)

    Morning, Alain

    Good Morning, Tribesters,

Well, it had to happen………………we arrive in Raleigh, and they have a heat wave. It will be in the 90’s again today! Harrumph! The scenery is great. And, the birdsong in the early morning is so pretty! I guess up in Montana, we haven’t sat outside in the early morning since last summer, so I don’t remember the birdsong. But here, it’s already 80 some degrees.

Been interesting two days. We had an electrical storn come in Monday evening. Missed some of DWTS. Tuesday no internet than Tuesday to Wednesday found out our fridge/freezer side-by-side stopped working. Have someone coming out Thursday. We did a lot of moving stuff to a differnt fridge.

Contacted AT&T our carrier and sent us the wrong unit for our internet. Later son and daughter’s guy found out power strip fried.

And i had to get caught up on-line class, thankfully we are almost done. Finished my last essay not sure is right. While internet was down. I drove and finally met briefly with SRMom for a short visit.than went back home waiting for UPS for part did not come in until 5:30pm and still not right.

Hi, Kab, Alain & Bmonk! Kab – Good meeting you yesterday!Alain – From yesterday’s comment, what does lemonade due to a liver?Bmonk – I’ve never been “cool” (unless you count temperature), but my husband & I’ve had a waterbed for our whole marriage. He already owned one when we got married. I like getting in a pre-warmed bed, especially in the winter! (And I can turn the thermostat down for the summer.)

It could never be warm enough in this refridgerator they call, an office, *bmonk. Yet it’s a beautiful 90 degree day out there. Oh, well, I hope it will be this nice when I go on vacation. I’d definitely do some time outdoors if that’s the case.

Alain, my parents were the ones who liked Kung Foo. When supper was over, I was out of there like a bat out of Hell and watching what ever I liked at that time on the basement TV.

At my young age I was into science fiction & comedy, Alain….until Charlie’s Angels came on that is. No that’s not quite true, because I liked The Rockford Files. But for the most part I stayed away from cop shows and other hour-long dramas.

    Hi, bmonk. Neither have I.

I agree, Rmom. I think I could say the same about Adam 12. It made them seem more like real people, Unlike Cannon, Mannix, Mod Squad, etc.

Rmom, I haven’t seen a prime time show since about 2005 or maybe 7. There’s nothing out there of interest to me.

I used to watch some history shows on History Channel—but since about 2008 they have gotten out of the history business, apparently.

bmonk – When I was able to watch the History Channel most of the programs had little to do about history. I wondered about that.

They used to do a lot more. Now they’ve found that shows about pawn shops and suchlike are cheaper and more popular, I fear.

Good early evening kids. Hope all of you had a good day. .Alas the History Channel has forgotten history. Unless you count ancient aliens, but I just can’t.

We watched a lot of those shows like Adam12, Manix, Barnaby. When family came over we shut the tv off. Also watched Gunsmoke, Bonanza, High Chaprel so on. Also watch Blue Bloods. We received our bad news. Fridge/freezer is dead.

I may have did my final exam too early. Instructor posted instructions, I thought due today.and due next week. I rushed and not take my time. So i’m not sure what will happen.

    Good Evening Jkissmya!

♥Kab♥ – Too bad about your refrig. I hope you did fine on your final exam.

At least (according to the producers) they still have some history on the History Channel? Like when a person brings in something old to the pawn shop.

Citizen GROG! – I don’t think so but I’m not sure what programs are on it as I have only watched it while I was in the hospital and rehab as they had cable there.
