Jackson’s Chameleon is a tiny triceratops.
There is always the Komodo dragon. I always want to pronounce it “kimono” and picture it wearing a satin robe that is held shut with a sash.
A cool collection. A recent (2009) taxonomic change for Jackson’s chameleon: was Chamaeleo jacksonii; now Trioceros jacksonii.
They left off my favorite…the Cowfish. It’s triangular in cross section with golden skin adorned with blue spots, horns and big blue eyes. We catch them whenever we use our seine net in the Florida grass beds.
Beautiful as always Rosemary, educational and great art work!
