LUVH8 Do you think I’m crazy? I saw LONEWOLF’S stones, but I refuse to look at the tree. My dividend checks don’t come in till the 23rd, and Dr Nutcase is demanding cash in advance .I miss Blue Cross..
Are you sure the Woolly Mouse is extinct? One of my cats looks like Sylvester seeing a kangaroo..
Another question, in light of the saying, “The early bird may get the worm, but it’s the second mouse who gets the cheese”: what did they use to BAIT the trap, besides the question of setting it? And what sort of spring did they use?
I’m gonna sit over here and gibber until the faces go away.
OK, independently of any of you nut cases out there ;) I see three faces, two in stone, one in the tree. Oh, and probably one more (skull-face) in the back of the second caveman’s garment.
If there are any more, I don’t want to know, lest I start losing my minds like a lot of the rest of you. My medical bills are high enough as it is. :P
I guess I went a little overboard on the faces this time. I felt like I’ve been cheating you by not showing enough face, so…
Anyway, nobody seems to have picked up on the face in the tail (I have a penchant for irony, for what it’s worth).
Yes, Grog, I’m reading them now. :)
The trap has to be set very carefully by the strongest guys in the tribe.
Haven’t you all wondered why we never found any skeletons of the Giant Wooly Mouse? I’m wondering why the good Mr. Doty hasn’t written to tell me there is no evidence of such beasts or of men hunting them… but the day’s not over.
To all of you, I apologize for my late postings. Sometimes, my work days are so long, I can’t get my cartoon done until after the deadline (10PM Central Time) for the next day’s posting. Sometimes, I can’t seem to get it done before midnight Pacific Time! Sorry about that.
Once again, thank you all for reading this mousy cartoon!

The secret to not finding faces is not to stare at it more than 5 seconds.

I know that in the context of this comic, the following question, practical as it may seem, means little or nothing, but I have to ask it anyway.
How did they SET that trap without getting killed themselves?

Faces, faces, I see faces. Lalalala.
