    It sounds like you read rabbit’s post to mean “unword” as in made-up & meaningless, like “proactive”. I think the point is that they no longer recognize it as a word, like some totalitarian regimes’ “unpersons”.

    PC: the Newspeak. A friend heard a college student being scolded by his peers for using the word “she” to describe a person. She was sexist; he should have used person. Excuse me, the person should have used person.

    If Democrats had no problem with kids rotting with cancer to glorify Obama, they’d eat the puppy. For the first meeting the Democrats would all lunge at the puppy and eat it alive..Msnbc would report is as "Democrats stand firm against sleezy Republcan tactic.

    Way back when, i was taught that when speaking of mixed-gender groups, masculine gender prevailed, as in “Everybody is wearing his raincoat.” Now, I assume it is correct to say “Everybody is wearing their raincoat.” Oh, wait a minute; that too is incorrect. We hardly get any rain here for now, so “ain’t nobody wearin’ no raincoat !!”
