It sounds like you read rabbit’s post to mean “unword” as in made-up & meaningless, like “proactive”. I think the point is that they no longer recognize it as a word, like some totalitarian regimes’ “unpersons”.
PC: the Newspeak. A friend heard a college student being scolded by his peers for using the word “she” to describe a person. She was sexist; he should have used person. Excuse me, the person should have used person.

Way back when, i was taught that when speaking of mixed-gender groups, masculine gender prevailed, as in “Everybody is wearing his raincoat.” Now, I assume it is correct to say “Everybody is wearing their raincoat.” Oh, wait a minute; that too is incorrect. We hardly get any rain here for now, so “ain’t nobody wearin’ no raincoat !!”
