Friend of mine cuts the labels off his backpacking clothes to save weight – and cuts half the handle off the razor to trim his beard. One must have priorities.
I do have one with a nose trimmer. Actually, little tiny scissors that are useful for many other things as well. Another much used feature is a magnifying glass – from reading fine print to starting a fire without matches. And the phillips and flat blade screwdriver.
I say grow your beard & mustache… then you can let the hairs from your nose grow as long as they want & they will blend right into your mustache & you will look dashing too!

If you’re skilled with a regular pocketknife, you don’t need no stinkin’ nose trimmer. If not skilled, a bandage should cover it.

These do-it-yourself guys can be nuts. If he wants his nose trimmed, he should go to a plastic surgeon like anyone else would.
