Our Jelly still has a bun bun that hubs bought for her when she was tiny. She has it hidden somewhere, and brings it out when she wants to be especially cute :)
This is why I never throw out an old toy my dog continues to take out of the toy basket, no matter how ratty it gets. My last dog used to be attached to a small piece of felt that was probably an ear on a larger toy at one time. Dogs don’t believe newer is better all the time. I sometimes replace squeakers and re-stuff some toys. Beagles like the squeakers because they sound like rabbits, I think.
5 1/2 years ago, our 16-year-old German Shepard, Apollo, passed away. We buried him with his favorite toy, a big red dog that was almost as big as Apollo. He had that toy from the time he was a 10-week old puppy, and it seemed fitting that the best dog in the world went to the Rainbow Bridge with his best, stuffed friend.

See 1 Corinthians 13:11 for Biblical reference/origin.

So that’s what happened to my stuffed bear Brownie! Oh well, at least it went to a good cause.

Question: does this comic favor Christianity over the canine-human symbiotic relationship, or the other way round?
