Must be set to autowag.

Not commonly known that dogs have a second brain that controls their hind legs and tail. (….well they should!)

The tail can’t help it if it’s in a tail-wagging mood!

The tail doesn’t lie.

The tail’s in a better mood than the head.

I’ll fix it, where’s that special tree…..

That’s actually a WARNING tail wag! Not his fault if humans don’t know how to read it.

Here is another example of irritating and irritated.

Sometimes the dog tries to override the tail, but doesn’t always succeed. I was dog-sitting a dog whose owner was away. The dog was lying flat out on the living room floor, pointing herself in a straight line toward the front door. She looked pathetic, with sad eyes and everything. I said “Oh, poor doggy” and made other poor-baby sounds at her. Her face got even more pathetic, but her tail started to wag. Faker! At least partially, she was.

This is why dogs can’t play poker.

Do dogs realize their tails are part of them?
