This upcoming week is filled with reading-inspired holidays - Read a Book Day, Buy a Book Day and Literacy Day - making this the perfect time to share an awesome new program from our sister company, Andrews McMeel Publishing.

AMP! Comics for Kids has partnered with Bookopolis to create a new program called Kids Rate Books. Through the program, kids can earn free books for their school libraries and classrooms - simply by reading books and writing reviews! And not just any ol' books; we're talking really cool comics collections and graphic novels from the AMP! Kids line, like Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce and the Desmond Pucket series by Mark Tatulli.

Kids Rate Books is hosted on Bookopolis, a safe online community where kids can share their favorite books and find new ones. Kids will love browsing their friends' reading lists and playing games in the Fun & Games section. They can also earn points and badges by logging their reading and recording their progress, which can help engage reluctant readers, and parents can track their progress and interaction.
