Whether neatly trimmed or big and bushy, beards certainly make a statement! We wanted to have a little fun on World Beard Day (September 5), so we've done a careful examination of the beards of GoComics. It turns out there are some clear benefits and disadvantages to growing a beard.

1. Long, cold winter? A beard will keep you warm.
