Scott Stantis at the 2015 Printers Row Lit Fest
by GoComicsCalling all comic fans in the Chicago area! This weekend, as some of you may know, is the 31st annual Printers Row Lit Fest and we are excited to announce that Scott Stantis (Prickly City and Scott Stantis editorial cartoons) will be giving TWO presentations! The Midwest's largest outdoor literary festival, this free, two-day event draws more than 125,000 book-lovers every year.
Stantis' first presentation, on Saturday (June 6), will take place in the cafeteria of Jones College Prep High from 12:15-1 pm and he will be discussing his cartoon essay, "The Beatings Never Really Stop," with Chicago Tonight host, Phil Ponce. Tickets for this presentation are required and can be reserved here.
For his second presentation, on Sunday (June 7), about "cartooning in a post-Charlie Hebdo world," he will be in the Hotel Blake's Burnham Room from 1-1:45 pm. Tickets for that presentation can be reserved here.
What a fun way to spend a weekend in Chicago! Best of luck to Scott Stantis!
