2017 Inauguration Day Comics
by The GoComics TeamEvery four January 20ths or so since 1937 -- and we're paraphrasing Wikipedia a little here -- there has been an inauguration ceremony a to mark the commencement of a new four-year term of a president of the United States.
Today is one of those January 20ths.
As tends to be the case on said January 20ths, political cartoonists are working overtime to bring you their respective takes on the state of the forthcoming union or lack thereof.
After all, it's not every day that a 45th president is inaugurated. And there's some significance attached to the number 45. It is apparently a triangular number, the sixth positive integer, the atomic number of rhodium, the speed some gramophone records are intended to be played at, an interstate in Texas, Cornershop had that "Brimful of Asha" song -- all kinds of things. If your 45th birthday is today too, well hey, how about that?
Here are some comics about the events of today, which is the inauguration day.
