These National Chili Day Comics Are A Real Gas
by The GoComics TeamNational Chili Day is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of February in the name of warming one of the traditionally bleakest times of the year. Taking a flamethrower to the final grasps of winter's icy grip with spicy chili is fair play after months of icy weather, short daylight hours and never-ending colds. We say "Have at thee, winter!"
No matter what kind of chili you intend to cook, eat or just think about as you lie awake in bed haunted by the faces of all those you've wronged in your life of betrayal, NCD is a fine time to reflect on what makes the dish special: having the same name as an American casual dining restaurant chain that features Tex-Mex-style cuisine and ribs.
Enjoy these chili comics.
